Meet Dr. Choi

Dr. Choi

Dr. Isabell H. Choi is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry and received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. She served as class vice president and secretary at SCCO, as well as, the Director of Student Relations on the Student Association Board. Dr. Choi was the recipient of the Homer and Marie Hendrickson Award in 2006 for vision therapy.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and Asian American Optometric Society. She is currently serving on the Membership Committee of the California Optometric Association. Dr. Choi is a primary care and low vision optometrist who is passionate about helping her patients increase their quality of life.

She is active in the community through her involvement with the Kiwanis Club of Brea. She is currently Vice President, Key Club Advisor, and the Coordinator for the Share Old Spectacles (SOS) program, an eyeglass recycling program. She is also involved in the community through vision screenings at local preschools.

In her free time, she enjoys long distance running, exercising, reading, and spending time with her dogs.
